12 person were lost in a throng during a football match in Africa
5 June 2007Twelve person were lost and 46 have suffered as a result of a throng at the stadium in the city of Chillilabombve in Zambia after a match of a selection cycle of the African nations Cup between national teams of Zambia and Democratic republic of Congo, informs France Presse agency referring to the representative of a local police.
Mass media report specified that 9 men and 3 women were lost.
Chillilabombve is located in the north of Zambia, nearby to the Congo border. The local stadium can seat 18 thousand persons. The match was carried out at this very stadium because of earlier disorders in more roomy stadium in capital of Zambia Lusaka.
