Well-known businessman is killed in the center of Tbilisi
1 June 2007In the center of the Georgian capital in one of the offices was killed well-known businessman Tsviad Tsetshladze.
Tsetshladze was strangled in his study, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Motives of the murder are unknown.
Tsetshladze was the colleague and the associate of the former Adzharian leader Aslan Abashidze. Last years Tsetshladze was not involved in politics and was busy with his tourist business.
According to Emedia broadcasting company, the last 61-years businessman was the deputy of parliament of Georgia of the last summon, a member of Renaissance party.
He was strangled by Scotch tape. The murder was committed, presumably, between 16:00 and 18:00 on Monday, May, 28.
In the evening on Sunday, May, 20, in the center of Tbilisi near the office of Aldagi insurance company was killed the leader of political movement “Language. Fatherland. Belief�, the academician, professor of philology Guram Sharadze. He also was the colleague of the first president of Georgia.
