In Ethiopia the unknown person has thrown a grenade in a crowd of fans
30 May 2007The unknown person has thrown a grenade in the crowd of fans in stadium in Ethiopia, five people died at once, another six were lost on the spot during the followed throng.
The head of local administration Abdullah Hasan was also wounded. The tragedy has taken place in the east of the country, in area of ethnic Somalis residence.
According to the preliminary data, behind this violent attack are militants of the National movement for Ogaden liberation.
The National movement for Ogaden liberation is the separative organization which presses for the independence of Ogaden area occupied by Somalis in the east of Ethiopia and which recently has increases its armed actions.
In April separatists have attacked Chinese firm’s oil field belonging, having killed 74 persons.
