Englishman who waited for Elizabeth II with an axe was brought a charge
28 May 2007In the British city of Huddersfield 34-years old man was charged with possession of the weapon - an axe. He was arrested the day before in area of journey of the Queen of the Great Britain Elizabeth II with Duke of Edinburgh.
Policemen noticed the suspicious man on the area Saint-George in 30 minutes before the Queen with the spouse should have appeared there. The handle of an axe stuck out from a package held by the man. The suspicious passer-by has been detained straightway.
Hearings in court on this matter are appointed on June, 1. According to mass-media information, Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh visited Huddersfield within the framework of the scheduled visit to the West Yorkshire County.
