Britain daren’t to accuse the Russian special services in Litvinenko`s death
25 May 2007The government of the Great Britain has made the decision to not send in Moscow official inquiries concerning possible participation of the Russian special services in the murder of former FSB employee Alexander Litvinenko, informs on Thursday, May, 24, the Times referring to sources in the British government.
“The point of view is the fallowing - this is a criminal case, but not a question of special services` activity, and the government has no intention to focus attention to something else in the dialogue with Russian within the framework of this affair “, - quotes the newspaper British Ministry of Foreign Affairs official, who wished to remain unknown.
Earlier sources in police informed the Times that during the investigation of death circumstances they have found out the evidence, which confirmed the participation of special services in the murder.
However on Wednesday sources in the British government informed the newspaper that the there is no firm evidence, allowing to make statements on participation of the special services in the murder.
According to the interlocutor of the edition, there will be no statements on the official level, until appear firm evidence, which can prove the participation of special services in the murder.
