Ex-minister of Poland shot herself during a search

Wednesday morning former Poland minister of construction Barbara Blida committed suicide during a search which was conducted by policemen in her house, France Presse informs.
While inspectors searched in the house of the retired official evidences of her possible participation in one of the corruption investigations, she went to a bathroom where shot herself from a pistol.
“Barbara Blida was among those people, concerning whom an investigation about illegal payments to employees of the state structures was conducted. Though she was suspected of bribery, formal charges in her address were not put forward “, - declared in the Polish law enforcement bodies.
Blida held a post of minister of construction in the government of social democrats from 1993 to 1996. After that she had headed the successful building company.
