32 persons shot at Virginia University
18 April 2007According to all available information 32 persons were killed and about 30 received wounds as a result of firing which have taken place on Monday, April, 16, in Virginia University of Technology, the USA in small town Blacksburg, Fox News informs.
According to the last messages, firing was conducted with a little break in different buildings at the campus territory.
For the first time firing has taken place at about 7:15 morning local time in the university hostel - then one person was killed and one more was wounded. As CNN specifies, 895 students lived in this inhabited sector.
The second firing, with considerably more tragic consequences, has taken place two hours later in Norris Hall educational building where scientific and engineering faculties are located. Some students have been shot directly in educational audiences, the police informed.
Under the preliminary information, shooting person, presumably the Asian, was shot.
The US president George Bush is shocked with the shooting.
This is already the second time for a year when the university campus is closed because of shooting.
