Robbers of the Venezuelan bank have yielded
4 February 2008The robbers, taking some dozens hostages in the branch of Banco Provincial bank in the center of Venezuela last week, have yielded.
Having taken money, malefactors were going to leave crime scene, however near the building appeared the police car and they had lock up in the building together with hostages from employees and clients of the bank.
Robbers hold the people for more than a day. During long negotiations local authorities have made the decision to satisfy the requirement of the robbers and to give them an ambulance van. Having taken six hostages, unlucky criminals have disappeared.
However in some hours police tracked down the car and blocked it on a highway to the east from the Venezuelan capital of Caracas.
Robbers have thrown out the weapon and surrendered. None from hostages have seriously suffered.
