French journalist is abducted in Africa
20 December 2007The reporter had no chance to write about migrants. The French journalist, who has gone to Somalia with the purpose to make piece of reporting about illegal immigrants, has been taken hostage.
Unknown armed people in the city of Bosasso in northeast Somalia have abducted French journalist Gwen le Guil.
According to the driver of the reporter, their vehicle “was stopped by the armed people, who have demanded the large sum of money”. Not having received it, mob have taken the journalist in hostages, transfers French news agency France-Presse (AFP).
