In Italy two cash messengers are arrested for theft of €1,75 million and abduction of the colleague
7 December 2007In the Italian city of Naples police have arrested two cash messengers - employees of a private security firm on suspicion of theft of €1,75 million (2,45 million dollars). During a robbery malefactors have abducted their colleague and have wounded him.
Cash messengers-robbers have declared a crime, having tried to accuse some unknown criminals. Two security guards told, the robbery has taken place in their absence, when they came in a building of post office to deliver some bags with money, and their colleague was in a collector van.
Having left post office building, they ostensibly have not found the car, stolen by criminals together with their colleague. Soon the police have found an abandoned van with wounded security guard. 21 bags in the value of 1,75 disappeared.
However the investigation has established true criminals. Both cash messengers have been arrested. The stolen money still has not been found.
