Dutch teenager is detained for virtual theft

Law enforcement bodies of Netherlands have detained the seventeen-year-old online-thief who is accused of virtual furniture theft for the sum of €4000, informs Reuters.

According to the police, the teenager has stolen furniture from virtual rooms of some gamers of online-game Habbo Hotel, having cracked their registration records and virtually taken out furniture from hotel rooms of game participants.

The police suspects, that the young thief had accomplices, therefore four more 15-years old teenagers are suspected on the case. They are also accused of non-authorized moving of virtual furniture from hotel rooms in their online-houses.

Online-game Habbo Hotel is three-dimensional hotel with an opportunity to create rooms, that is small online-space of the player. For today there are about 80 million registered users of Habbo Hotel game from 31 countries of the world.
