20 thousand migrants came to the USA by mistake of officials

Thousands people, who should have been refused to enter the country, on quite lawful bases got in the country in 2006, is said in the new report of the US Accounting Chamber.

In an open part of the report, which has been distributed on Monday in Washington, there are no exact data on the amount of people, who have been given entry visas by mistake, but CNN informs, referring to the sources close to the full version of the report, there were 21 thousands of them in 2006.

According to the report, the reason of such mistake was an insufficient amount of employees and changing of the staff in customs-border department, which controls 326 ground, sea and air points of entrance to the country.

Besides, the report marked the low level of work of the department’s management and carelessness of some officers.

In this connection it is recommends to strengthen quickly training of the available staff and to recruit new.

Every year approximately 400 millions people enter the USA on legal ground.
