Two prisoners have made break of maximum-security prison of the city Itr in the central part of Belgium, having used for this purpose hijacked helicopter, informed AP on October, 29.
According to TV company VRT, two prisoners, one of whom is named Nordin Benallal, have taken one of the guards hostage. At this time their accomplices at large hijacked the helicopter and under threats forced the pilot to land in a courtyard of the prison.
Having left the prison, criminals forced the pilot to land and then disappeared by an automobile. Two hours later the vehicle has been found near to the city of Bren-le-Shato.
This escape is not first for Nordin Benallal. In June, 2004 he was sentenced to 27 years of imprisonment for a number of crimes, however made prison break two months later.
