The Russian General Prosecutor’s Office has received additional inquiry on Litvinenko’s case

The General Prosecutor’s Office has received additional inquiry from Great Britain on Litvinenko’s case.

General Prosecutor’s Office has sent the letter addressed to the British Home Secretary to acknowledge the receipt of additional inquiry of Royal Prosecutor’s service of England and Wales about rendering of legal aid in the criminal case, opened on the fact of Litvinenko’s death, was said in the message.

The document also noted that much earlier - 10 months ago – Russians sent the inquiries about rendering of legal aid on this criminal case and also an attempt to kill Dmitry Kovtun in relevant authority of the Great Britain. Thus each time Russian side informed that petitions had urgent character, informs the press-service of General Prosecutor’s Office.
