The polite parrot has given up a robber to the owner.
23 October 2007The American has shot the robber in his own house after he has been woken by a disturbed parrot.
In Texas the malefactor has penetrated into the private house located in a northwest part of the city of Dallas, to the north from Lake Bachman.
However the owner Dennis Baker, who keeps some birds in the house, has been woken by his Mexican red-feathered parrot named Salvador. The bird had just started to greet the visitor: “Hello! Hello!”
Due to the system of supervision Baker has found out the robber and then shot him in the garage built to the house, explained in the police.
The robber appeared 46-years old John Woodson who in a critical condition was delivered to hospital where he died.
In 2007 local legislators passed the bill which actually allowed citizens to kill the criminal in the course of self-defense regardless of the place: at home, work or in a vehicle.
Texas remains one of States where the population most carefully keeps the American traditions connected to the right to bear arms.
