One of the most wanted criminals is detained in the USA

The bank robber Anthony Ray Artrip, included in the list of 15 most wanted criminals in the USA and for whose capture was declared an award in 25 thousand dollars, was detained during joint operation of officers of justice service and police special troops in Pennsylvania, inform local mass-media.

Artrip is suspect at least of five robberies of banks in states Western Virginia, Northern Carolina, Kentucky and Michigan. Besides, he was also searched for breach of prison of district Grant, Kentucky, which he made on June, 24 this year.

Artrip had used the known scheme: he came into bank early in the morning and gave the cashier a paper package and a note where he informed about a robbery. Cameras in the banks didn’t show that during robberies the criminal threatened cashiers with the weapon, however his right hand was in a pocket where, probably, he hid a pistol.

The sums which Artrip received in the criminal way, are insignificant: for example, on June, 30 during the robbery of First Century Bank in Princeton (Western Virginia) he has stolen only 1,6 thousand dollars.
