26 September 2007Leader of one of the largest German political parties, known for her revolutionary initiatives, has suggested to limit duration of the marriage by 7 years.
52-years old Gabriel Pauli which guides Christlich-Soziale Union of Germany, has declared, that the majority of long marriages does not break up only because spouse want some stability, but not because of love. Thus, as she said, with a view of improvement of life quality, marriages should be limited by 7 years at the legislative level. After this term, the marriage should be automatically terminated and can be renewed only under condition of a mutual consent of the former spouses.
