The German criminalist has opened secrets of cannibal Armin Maives’ file
24 September 2007The book of criminalist Manfred Risse who participated in investigation on cannibal Armin Maives case is published in Germany. The reading matter is not recommended for the children and nervous, as it is based on personal impressions of the expert and 4-hour video of a painful murder of a victim.
The book is intended only for adults, writes British newspaper The Telegraph. The book tells about the monstrous contract between Maives and his victim - the man with who they got acquainted through the Internet and who has agreed to be killed and eaten by cannibal.
Till now only some people, including Risse and members of the court on Maives process, saw four and half hour amateur recording with a slow and deliberate murder committed in 2002.
Last year Armin Maives was recognized a sane person by the results of medical examination and was sentenced by court to life imprisonment.
Sometimes actions of criminals can shake even skilled criminalists’ psychological balance. So, at the end of summer 2007 German police caught the cannibal who met police officers with the blood-stained mouth and the organs of the victim spread out on plates. Later policemen needed to be rendered the psychological assistance.
