In Saint Petersburg the Swedish consul and Denmark citizen are robbed
19 September 2007In Saint Petersburg the past week ends at once two foreigners became victims of unknown criminals. The Swedish consul has lost a mobile phone and a large sum of money, the tourist from Denmark was mugged on the Nevskij avenue.
According to the “Interfax”, the consul of Sweden on Saturday, being at his apartment in the Northern capital, has found out a loss of 5 thousand crones (750 US dollars), mobile phone and a credit card.
It was found out, that on the night of Saturday he visited one of Petersburg’s night clubs. It is possible, the money disappeared just after that, believe in militia.
Besides as it became known, on Sunday in militia came the 71-years tourist from Denmark who has arrived to Petersburg on cruise steam-ship “Feodor Dostoevsky”.
He has told that on Saturday about 17:30 four unknown persons have stolen 5 thousand crones at the underground station “Nevskij prospect”, credit card and his driver’s license.
