Microsoft recommends to steal Windows
20 March 2007Microsoft executives consider that the piracy to some extent promotes the increase of sales volumes of the licensed copies of software products, reported on a site The Register. “If pirates are going to steal, let they better steal our products”, - the president of business-group Microsoft Jeff Ryks declared. Ryks is sure that a person, using the illegal copy of software, early or late get used to it, and the next time he will prefer to purchase the licensed copy and become the registered user. In spite of the fact that Microsoft is not going to halt a fight against piracy, the corporation will not toughen penalty in relation to the users of pirate products. This decision Ryks explained in such a way, that superfluous pressure on users will force them not to buy Microsoft licensed programs, but search a free alternative to it software.
