American intelligence service has got “poor� in counterterrorism

CIA’s management has failed to mobilize forces and means of department to develop the intelligible plan of struggle with al-Qaeda and has missed a real opportunity to prevent penetration of at least two terrorists aboard the plane on September, 11, 2001, informs AP referring to the data of the special report made by experts of supervising for CIA body.
The document made by June, 2005, was declassified only on August, 21, 2007.
It is said in the text of the 19-page report that “both separate employees, and CIA as a whole” fulfilled the duties “unsatisfactory”.
At the same time composers of the report - the general inspector of CIA and his subordinates - have recognized that the department has not make any one mistake, which did not allowed to prevent attacks on September, 11.
CIA’s Director has already declared that he would prefer not make the document public as it will strongly upset “people serving for the good of the Native land”, however had to make it under the law recently passes by the Congress and signed by the President.
The primary goal of report’s composers was ascertainment of CIA’s actions correctness before and right after September, 11.
